Criminal Justice Response

Crime is increasing in Alaska communities. The Senate Majority responded with multiple laws giving law enforcement and courts the resources they need to hold offenders accountable and support victims.

UPDATE 5/11/18: Substantial criminal justice changes were passed by the Senate on May 10 and confirmed by the House on May 11, 2018.  These changes target the 'Catch-and-Release' revolving door problem.
